You’re gonna have to just ensure you’ve the MRI and see what that shows. Honestly like I say, shoulders are a bitch it could be anything. But again I reiterate, tramadol is about the best you will get and you’ll be lucky to even get it. They are cracking down hard and also you don’t wanna be catching an addiction to something stronger anyway. Tramadol is a Bitch to taper from but it’s not the worst.
I won’t get addicted trust me, I have Tramadol I bought and only take it on the weekend and that’s only in Saturday, because I notice the next day I feel depressed after taking it, I feel weird where I have to take like 4mg of Etizolam or 2mg of Klonopin to ease my feelings. I guess it’s the serotonin in your brain the Tramadol is said to boost.

To the OP. I am very very seasoned in my pharmaceuticals. I am 28 now but I can tell you in my late teens and early 20s I could take 1000-1500mg of tramadol and I was just fine back then I only had like a every other weekend tolerance and I loved take 20 50mg trams all the time. If you are prone to seizures than absolutely don’t take trams but other than that you’ll be fine bro as long as your at least 150lbs. Hope this helps!
I’m 6 foot tall and weigh 175 pounds, I have taken 300 msg today four hours apart. Is that ok? And I’ve never had seizures.

Tramadol also acts like an SNRI this is why it’s incredibly dangerous to mix with anti depressants due to risk of serotonin syndrome. It’s also why people love it, it’s an antidepressant in itself. It’s part of what makes it a good pain killer. It’s also part of why it causes seizures. When you get addicted to tramadol you don’t just gain an opioid addiction you gain an SNRI one too. The withdrawal isn’t pleasant. It’s not awful but it’s not one I would choose.

Again, I urge you to push them to get to the crux of what is going on with your shoulder.

Please don’t follow that persons advice. It’s highly dangerous. 300mg is fine. Just to say it doesn’t matter if you’ve never had seizures, tramadol is a special med, as I’ve mentioned above.

I disagree because with experience, if a doc gave me a script for 800mg ibuprofen, I would laugh and throw that script right back into their face.

That's funny. I once got a script for either 500mg or 800mg ibuprofen and crumbled it into a ball and made a basket right in front of him. It's almost a joke.

Doctors are retarded. Just go to a methadone clinic and get the best pain killer. As much as you want too! Only 1 requirement needed. A signature from the bum down the street saying you took opiates for over 1 year.

The system is flat backwards.

Basically did the same thing, was more fun crumbling the script

Thank you PrincessDiz, you’re a cool gal. I will certainly push for them to get to the bottom of my pain, I’m just hoping I don’t need surgery, I just started a new job 3 months ago and my company is really short handed, and I don’t think they’ll be happy me having to leave due to surgery, that’ll really screw them up, as they’re a small company just starting up.

I’m really sorry you’re having issues dude! Honestly, shoulders are painful and awkward. I do hope you find out what the issue is and that it’s not too complicated. If you ever need me I’m always about. ❤️

Thank you sister, you are very sincere and nice I value that and appreciate you.<3

The doctor I am going to see is a specialist in shoulders, and has good reviews unlike the other orthopedic who was a joke and had bad reviews.

Should I take diphenhydramine 50mg to potentiate the 225mg of Tramadol?

I noticed last weekend I ate a bowl of cereal and it increase the effects of Tramadol made my nods more frequent.
Or should I take 2mg if Etizolam to increase the effects?

Any help would be appreciated.

WTF?! That's weird. Overall, food kills my entire opioid high. Benzos too. I hate that shit. But apparently etizolam is called one of the most euphoric benzos out there.

I really hope you continue this path. Congrats.

Look at me, after a herniated disc in my back they prescribed tramadol. I immediately loved that feeling (euphoria?). Everything is wonderful, your life is amazing, and your problems are gone. Eventually, I liked that feeling too much that I started taking it all the time (when in fact it should only be taken in case of very strong pain that is not relieved by OTC painkillers).

Now, two years later, here I am, taking 1000-2000mg of tramadol every day. I really hit bottom.
I'm not looking for pity, far from it. I just hope that didn't happen to you. At the first moment, when you feel that your pill consumption it's getting out of control, tell someone (not even your doctor, it can be anyone you trust).

My regards.

PS. Sorry for my shitty english (I'm not from US) and I'm little tired.

Maybe it was just all in my mind the bowl of cereal, but I got hungry and ate a bowl of cereal and the effects felt like they got stronger. My worries now are how am I going to tell this doctor the extreme pain I’m in without him trying to think I’m trying to cop pills? Cause I’m in extreme pain everyday and can’t keep taking these ibuprofens, and I do take 40 mg of omeprazole once a day for years now because of gerd and I can still feel pain in my stomach from taking the 800 mg ibuprofen.

This is poor harm reduction. Doses over 400mg are incredibly dangerous. You got lucky you didn’t have a seizure, best not to boast about it.
I didn’t just get lucky... my normal does was around 1200mg each time and I’ve done this over a hundred times so I would of got a seizure by now...

Best of luck with that attitude. I’ve watched 2 people have seizures due to tramadol and it was horrific. Both thought they were invincible too. I advise you strongly against such high doses.

100/5000

what are the symptoms of a seizure? I take 500+ when I take it (with benzos) and I never felt anything bad.

Anyone have any advice on how I should tell the doctor the ibuprofen 800mg not working? I’m in pain as I type this right now.

I just get worried because now doctors think you’re after pain meds when you tell them you’re in pain all because of this opioid crisis.

Be honest dude. Just say hey, I have honestly tried the ibuprofen but the pain is still bad. Explain how it feels, when it’s worst. Most of all tell him the other things you’re doing to help the pain. The ibuprofen gel, hot/cold packs etc. When they know you’re trying other therapies then they know you’re serious.
