Harm Reduction Injecting in leg vein

you always wanna inject going towards your heart, so going up, idk why it would be imflammed, maybe you missed abit, its harder to feel the miss in the legs,

What vein did you hit? Was it unser the knee?
Are you using your legs out of preference or are you out of veins in your arms?
Mate.. red streaks are bad, streaks generally are going to develop serious infection, (worst casecscrnario) .. usually it the direction the blood us flowing so seriously go get some antibiotics now and face the nerves of a doctor looking down at you like everyone else; it's not as important as living. They have seen it all BEFORE and wont remember you ok.
If you have not injected towards your torso then that would cause more damage to the vessel as veins have flaps inside to direct blood flow and regulate it.
Usually a hot shot us pretty much instantly felt abd becomes hot and painful, the body can hold it off by forming a fat knob over it and can heal itself, but often not so lucky.
If you become a bit crook with a cold type symptom, get the fuck to hospital .
The other side of the coin is you simply angled the wrong way and poked a hole and blood escapes and formed a streak, this will resolve on its own and wearing a compression bandage helps.
Just to be clear- at the sign of any fever or increase of streaks despite rest and compress you won't get better on your own. Leg veins are different; it's not wise to use them unless you're fucked and got no other that is around the level of your heart.
Get a handy diagram of your circulatory system and never rush this shit.
