Opioids Injecting benzo/opi pills?

To maximize effects for a given quantity ROA makes quite the difference. Hypothetically, would it be possible to stretch one's stash by doing this? Would a cotton be sufficient to deal with the binders or fillers?

Just curious, how would one deal with the binders or fillers? Would a cotton be sufficient?
No a cotton would absolutely not be sufficient. Wheel/micron filters only, preferably as small a micron pore as possible.

Also to note benzos are freebase so won't go into solution with water.
I'd imagine trying to drop the benzo from pills into PG/VG would be very difficult and wasteful, use of ethanol is highly advised against in terms of injecting.
Honestly it's just not worth trying to inject benzos.

Thanks.

But a much smaller dose is needed for IV vs oral - so wouldn't it hypothetically save some resources?

Benzos dont dissolve in water for the most part so you wont actually be injecting it itll just stay a solid and be filtered out of your solution

Assuming you were able to dissolve it in some other solvent as @psynce of sound mentioned propylene glycol or veg glycerin. But would still be difficult especially having never done it before and limited science background experience. Ethanol would be easier compared to those two but also less safe. In any case, this is all purely hypothetical; I neither plan on doing this nor have the means to do so. Was just wondering about the possibility.

Ok harm reduction aside, theoretically, you could dissolve a crusuhed up benzo in some PG/ethanol mixture, dissolve the active ingredient (and whatever else decides to come along for the rode), filter it and

Mix it with your opioid pills that you have crushed and dissolved/filter in water.

You would have a shot that was 75% water 12.5% PG and 12.5% ethanol.

That amount of solvents won't kill you IV unless you are using horse syringes...
The opiod and benzo will probably be stronger BA wise and hit you faster so lower doses of both..

The above posters are correct.. very few benzos are worth injecting, as they neither have a "rush" or an appreciable increase in bioavailability.

Also tolerance will rise much higher and quicker with IV use so it won't be cost effective if you do it any regularly.

But I suspect this is the answer you were actually looking for.

Not particularly, as getting it from pills into solution would be pretty difficult for the most part.
If one was to attempt such a thing in earnest then starting with pure powder is advisable.

Right...forgot to take into account loss during transfer. And unless you have connects in pharma, 'pure powder' is an oxymoron. Too bad, thought I had a good idea there for a minute.

It depends on the drug you're (ab)using. Sometimes injecting makes sense. For example buprenorphine is roughly three times as potent when injected compared to when taken sublingually. Quite a few opioids are worth injecting IMO. But benzos in general are not (IV midazolam being the exception).

Obviously this statement isn't harm reduction in any way. Injecting pills carries a lot of risks and adequate filters should always be used.

Diazepam that's intended to be injected comes in propylene glycol solution. AFAIK midazolam is the only water soluble benzo.

Please don't inject pills.
