I'm looking for any medical journal articles or anyone who's well versed in the subject of Inherited Cocaine Resistance to discuss this further with me please.

butyrylcholinesterase overexpression in blood would be my bet. see [ref], it's just 1 enzyme, very possible that if you inherited a more active form of the enzyme or there was some factor that increased expression of existing BuChE you would find that cocaine doesn't do it for you. would also decrease the efficacy of many local anesthetics too

that, or you both have shitty hookups
 
Thank you so much for your reply. That completely makes sense. Also, I'm allergic to Iodine and I believe that there's a correlation between the two.
 
how are you allergic to iodine? It's neccesary for synthesis of thyroid horomones. do you mean you're allergic to shellfish or iodinated CT contrast agents?

either way an allergic response involves the immune system, which would be unrelated to cholinesterase
