I’m prescribed lamictal and Zyprexa. I’m going to stop taking my anti psychotic meds so I can trip and not have dulled effects. Will seizure meds dull my trip too?

lamictal seems to have no effect on the trip from people who have done acid while on it. Zyprexa is a powerful antipsychotic and will greatly dull the LSD. Idk why you take antipsychotics but sometimes its not really worth quitting meds to have a LSD trip.

I take antipsychotics because I’m diagnosed bipolar 2 with psycho-active features. But damn I love lsd so much that I’d like to do it maybe once or twice a year. I think a week off the meds would be fine and not a risk. Just wanted to ask and be sure. Thank you

Just making sure: you're not on lithium, correct?

seems like too complex a cocktail for remote diagnosis by amateurs on bluelight -> unless you were diagnosed these meds because you were faking your symptoms to get attention, I would say, let your doctor decide if you can go off meds.
I am concerned about seizure meds, which suggest you have some neurological damage and may even have blood pressure issues.

I have had manic episodes that have lasted for weeks and I lose touch with reality and when I stopped taking meds and stopped smoking weed I went manic and ended up having 2 grand mal seizures. I was far from trying to get attention. When I go manic, I make a fool of myself. I change my hair, food that I don’t like I’m able to eat.. crazy shit. I’m stopping both for a week bc I feel like the 2 grand mal seizures were random and I feel like I’ve been on the anti psychotics Long enough for a week of not taking it will not trigger a manic episode. I do have close friends who are aware that I stopped taking my meds who I talk to daily and I have given them a heads up to tell me if I start acting out so I feel I’m pretty safe. Just wanted your guys input.

No blood pressure issues and once again far from craving attention. If anything I’d love to get off these meds so I can drop the 30-40 pounds it added on me

If you’ve had seizures and you’ve stopped your seizure medication it could be pretty dangerous. Even if you’ve only had 2 in the past. Also with LSD you could have closed eye visuals which would cause rapid eye movement which could trigger a seizure. Please make sure if you go ahead with it that you have someone with you.

So I went ahead and stopped my meds for a week and was fine. I took molly with my girl and we had an amazing time (we stayed awake for 2 days doing nothing but drinking sex and music for 2 days strait though) and had a blast. Didn’t get the euphoria though. Then the next day had to do the lsd bc I wanted to get back on my meds.. lsd did not work. I’ve taken 50+ hits on these meds about 2 months ago and got nothing and took 3 last night and got nothing. The meds I’m on I guess work really well for keeping you stable just sucks I can never do lsd. It’s a blessing in disguise though bc I have my shit together and a well paying good career and if I was able to I’d be dropping it every weekend. No more trying it, it’s off the table and cannot be done sadly. However- I just learned about ketamine therapy. Can this work with the meds I’m on. I’m hearing yes and no on the internet and bluelight. Any one know?

the molly days of sex and song should carry you forward.

a friend on meds did take some ket therapy, which she liked but which had no lasting impact.

even as a well paid specialist, try to be the student within and keep learning, that is the best medicine.

Some of the wisest words and best advice on Bluelight!!!

In the ideal world everybody would be their own doctors. I don't think the possibility is not there today. On the contrary this is what the future might be like. Guardianship is the pressing need of our time. Plato is up there having loud guffaws.

So you still trip on the ketamine therapy sesh right? I saw this comedian mauss’s psychedlic documentary on prime video and he got to trip balls on k with a doctor present. I heard that my meds won’t interfere with it.

Ketamine therapy is like next level k holing they give you a long strong infusion of ketamine to try dissolve you into the k hole which all the magic happens to heal depression

Yea I’ve done k once and fell into a kole but I kinda liked it.. I should have kept my eyes closed though. Prob would’ve went a little smoother
