u know wot i'm talking about...

the things that you always say u wanna do, but never seem to get around to doing them... everyone has them... hobbies, travel, savings, tattoos etc etc..

for me its a number of things that i wanna do...

take up photography (still havent got the camera :( )
take up acting (in the process now)
take one of those "get really drunk and f**k anything that moves" tour of europe (otherwise known as a contiki tour ;) )
move my ass to melbourne.. (also in the process)

so how bout everyone else?

what is there that you really wanna do (realistically) but have never gotten around to doing it????

Yeh I'm down with what your saying the only thibg really is Photography

:\ soon soon

^^^ done that ;)

now just gotta find where i left em... :\

^^^ my ex has one of mine (ouch)

Umm I guess the main thing for me would be to re-learn one of the languages I learnt as a kid.

Start exercising again :(

Start eating more healthily for summer

Buy tacks for that dresser drawer which broke months ago so I can stop using the washing basket as a drawer

Call my mum :|

Go home to Shepparton for a weekend

Seek out more freelance writing opportunities

Vaccuum

Do this week's groceries

Seem to have plenty of time however, to:
*watch tv
* read Sunday papers back to front
* take drugs
* sleep
* have sex
* party with friends....

hmm, wonder why... maybe because all the stuff on the first list is FUCKING BORING!!????? ;)

Go to the gym
Start saving again
Put in my leave request form
Finish putting away stuff
Have a budget
Plan my next overseas holiday
Learn a new language or do some sort of course
Buy a heater

travel
tattoo
motorbike
take a break
world domination

are probably all on my short list

8)

get licence
move to sydney
travel outside of the eastern states
tattoo
tag along with a swat team in a drug raid

I keep meaning to start and finish my rap CD
There are a few songs floating around but nothing Im compleatly happy with.I jst want a finished product.
Ofcource there are manyother things I need to get under way but nothing Im gonna share here.

-Peace

*get my L's again
*learn to mix
*start exercising regulary
*start eating healthy again
*finish getting a career

funny ...i was actually talking about the things i have been putting off in my journal this morning :\

- learn how to cook very well, instead of just well enough to get me by.

- spend more time with my family, and in some cases, find them first.

- exercise more and eat more healthily

- save more money and not spend so much on my freaking car...

- spend more time with my friends

- take drum lessons

- get my band playing places again...

but in realityi will spend all my spare time sleeping... 8)

Set up my home network. Seriously, there's a thread on bluelight somewhere from ages ago where I asked for opinions about the best way to do it. Well, it's still not done... :\

  • Learn Spanish
  • Take more actual real photos with actual real film, so I can put them in an album, instead of c:\Documents and Settings\Anna\My Documents\My Pictures\
  • Call my old friends to catch up
  • Post some photos to my Nanna before she has me killed
  • Write a novel

* Finish off my Jeff Buckley sketch -> frame my artworks
* Get the oil in my car changed
* Finish off uni assessments -> Study
* Catch up with friends that i haven't seen in ages..
* Watch Pirates of the Caribbean
* Get my cavity fixed -> save money

ehhh.. i'll do it tomorrow ;)

ive always wanted to leave, on my own (or maybe with another person i invited a long time ago), and hike around the country. i havent done it yet but im starting to get my shit together. i set my deadline for early december as the time im gonna leave but ive realised that thats unrealistic, ill be able to have all my shit by then but im gonna need to save a couple of thousand for food and expenses along the way so ive pushed my date back to febuary. i WILL be leaving in feb, wether i have enough money or not, becuase i know if i keep pushing it back it will never be done.

I did that last year!:)I only went to Far north Qld,i had $500,an ounce,80lt backpack and my thumb. If your prepared to do crap work(i packed bananas and dug holes) and stay in hostels etc you don't really need much, well i didn't anyway.I guess most people wouldn't be comfortable hitchhiking, but it's cheap!
I actually left 11 days after the idea of travelling popped in my head(obviously i have very few responsibilitys),anyway its one of the best experiences in my life, don't push it back anymore man, even when it's tough it's fantastic, the craziest things just happen at random, when you tell people your hitchhiking the eastcoast it seems to bring out the best in human nature:)
I was suppose to go again 2 weeks ago(and stay on in Brizzy)but i've fucked my shoulder and need surgery:(.....anyway.....

Piano

Spanish

Photography

Origami(i started to learn this week:))

More tattoos(i have one thats 8 years old)

Excercise(this is changing too---mostly due to the physio i have to do)

B.A.S.E jump (i came sooo close to buying a chute at the beginning of the year....i didn't and i really regret it)

:)

Since i have slowed my party / drug intake significantly I was able to knock off a few things which I never thought would be possible a year ago, let alone 3 years ago.

* I've almost lost all desire to get fucked up on any drug.
* I have a healthy family relationship once again.
* I proved to myself that I could save. I managed to save $9,000 in 4-5 months.
* With that money I saved I bought a brand new car (see attached).

What I wan't to do now is ...

* Start paying off my home loan faster.
* Start getting fit again, although this has always been tough with my history of injuries.
* Learn to relax a bit more, perhaps even start meditation or yoga.
* Other minors include learning another language, going overseas and finding another job that is a little more stable.
