I do feel bad for him, he did everything right, finished school , good grades, good kid. Really an Urban kid , he grew up in the country, but now with Covid, the lock down, and With More than 35 MILLION people out of work in USA ( Not everyone can apply for benefits ) the city is not what he wants and Loved! Please let us know how it goes? Good supply, cheaper than last year? Easy to find and get?
I'm currently living in the middle-sized (~400k people) city that I grew up on the outskirts of, came back here after a decade of very-small-town rural life. The area I'd be moving to is only 5-6 hours away, and is a series of small (5-10k) towns along the main highway. Rents are apparently ridiculously high, but real estate prices seem quite low, comparatively. I have the luxury of time, though, and a pretty good starting salary; and years of living relatively very poor have left my needs pretty simple.
