Hi I'm new to BL.
Just after some expert help from someone who understands the physiology of mood enhancing neurotransmitters.
I take Effexor for anxiety/depression. But I have to open the capsule and take only a tiny dose because any significant dose will result in migraine.
My feeling is that the migraine is caused by vaso-constriction because the only thing that helps is very high heat applied to my scalp.
I need to know - is it the serotonin or noradrenaline which causes migraine? Am I right in assuming the pain is caused by vasoconstriction? Is there any other drug I can take to allow me to take the Effexor and yet not get a migraine?
Please help.
