Opioids How do I quit with NO withdrawals? Any advice on my plan is Greatly appreciated!!!

I have for the past 8 months been on a controlled self medicated antidepressant treatment with Tramadol. I am not prescribed it but I have reliable access. I have stocked up on about 700 x 50mg pills . I have made this purchase twice in the past 8 months

December 2015 --> June 21 2016 - Took 250mg daily at waking up, effects last 10+ hours basically the main part of my day, never redosed later in the day

June 22 --> June 29 - Cut down to 200mg daily, no discomfort

June 30 --> today(July 9) - Cut to 150mg been at this dose for 10 days, no discomfort until late at night

PLAN:-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

July 10 - 23 - Take 100mg daily 75mg at wake, 25mg at bed (two weeks of this)

July 24 - 30 - Take 50mg daily, 25mg at wake, 25mg at bed

August 1 Day 1 off Tramadol

Will I still have withdrawals?

Welcome! Firstly we don't allow any price discussion here, but I suppose a mod will edit that out by the time you see this.

Anyways, that sounds like a good plan. If the drops you've been doing have been working so far, keep going!

You might have some additional acute withdrawal symptoms for a few days in your first week off Tramadol, but no where near as bad as going Cold Turkey from the jump.
