I don't live at home now, but I know my parents would never kick me out. However, they were definitely too supportive of me financially (not they're fault, I was the one who took advantage).
If you've stolen to fund your habit, my advice is to stop immediately and if they don't know about your stealing, don't tell them. I look at it this way, my parents knowing the whole truth doesn't do any good. And besides that, they can't possibly be more disappointed in me than I am.
