Green Mitsubishi's manufactured here?

yeah i read in the Daily telegraph today that these guys were pressing the stuff. apparently one of the guys arrested hurt his hand pressing the pills, went to hospital, the cops followed him and put him under surviellance, then raided at 4am. and im pretty sure they were found with guns to.

150,000 pillz is quite a lot will that efect suply much or will it stay steady, are many pillz made in australia? if so only pressed or powder also??

definately a good idea to post stories like that i reckon Joop.
this way groups like enlighten can pester the government to post accurate test results to prevent misinformation and/or to alert the public to which tablets actually do contain PMA.

I think that Enlighten should make use of this report and then pester the government again for permission to use GCMS testing at raves like in Switzerland. I mean that last load of bullshit the government spouted about not allowing testing because they reconed it would not reduce harm because they reconed it was just strong MDMA that was causing people harm deserves to be shot down... I mean even if the recent PMA stores from Red & Green Mitzi's are just manufactured scare stories with no credit (which I quite suspect) It should be used to wake the government up to the risks (and possible risks) of adulterated pills and benefit of harm reduction from allowing testing in raves... I mean I think the far far more common ketamine adulterant is a big enough risk to warrant GCMS testing...

As for PMA though... just a note. After reading trip reports on Erowid and chatting by e-mail to enlighten I descided to chat to a local medic who works at a big club in Sydney... he said he had not seen any PMA poisoning while working there (last 3 years) but he had seen a PMA poisoning elsewhere before that time... He said it was very scary... The guy was in severe fever, his body temp was 41 degrees and he was taken to hospital suspected for PMA poisoning where he recovered after being in intensive care for 4 days... I asked him if the guy knew he was taking PMA (as enlighten have suggested all PMA poisonings in Australia have been) but the medic said no the guy thought he was just taking a pill.

Unfortunatly there is some pretty uneducated info being posted on that smilepolice site you guys posted above... did you guys read what was on there?!? Ppl saying that Marquis and Mandalin does not test PMA and another person saying common tests show clear for PMA... I mean that's just plain irresponsible in my view.... Everyone should be informed that although not foolproof Mandalin and Robadope are commonly available and can test for PMA. And furthermore incouraged test if not every pill then at least every pill of the batch with a PMA scare attached to it!

I know I definatly plan on testing every single green mitzi I get my hands on!

Interesting...

Yes hmmm pressing is pressing.... Not manufacture....

If anything it's the pricks pressing that makes us end up with DODGY shit....

Damn that's bad... it's not a punch in the guts for pills... but it's a punch in the guts from the sounds of the reports of the mitzi's....

SpecTBK=D

I would imagine it to be like most other businesses. Someone's got a press, so anyone looking for a press goes to him. Just because no-one round here hears of people owning one or renting out press time, doesn't mean that in the right circles it doesn't go on.

I'd bet [hope] most bluelighters don't know too many dealers with really large bags of powders, but I'm instinctively sure in many situations the quality of pills has less to do with the press owner, and more to do with the intent of the powder owners.

NEWS: 120,000 ecstasy tablets seized

Hopefully this isnt a duplicate thread, I did a search and couldnt find anything, the story is two days old however...

120,000 ecstasy tablets seized
By Neil Mercer
February 27, 2005

MORE than 120,000 ecstasy tablets worth as much as $12 million were allegedly seized by police in a dramatic early morning raid on a house in the Sydney suburb of Dee Why yesterday.

A man who witnessed the raid said police arrived outside the house not long after 4am.
After a loud blast on a siren, one officer using a loud hailer had called out: "The occupants of number 66 - please come out of the house.

"You are surrounded.

"This is the police."

The man, who did not wish to be named, said heavily armed members of the State Protection Group had circled the modest brick house.

"It was pitch dark," the man said.

"They had a big armoured tank (a specially modified police vehicle) in the front with a searchlight to illuminate the place.

"There were four police out the front in full gear, flak jackets, pointing their rifles at the house."

Other police officers had been positioned down the side of the house as well as at the rear.

"They weren't mucking around," the man said.

He said one man in pyjamas had walked out of the house with his hands raised.

A second man had retreated into the house but walked out a short time later.

The men, aged 34 and 59, were arrested and then taken to the Dee Why police station.

Inspector Mick Sheehy, from the Gangs Squad, said an estimated 120,000 to 130,000 MDMA tablets weighing about 42kg had been found inside, along with drug manufacturing equipment.

Inspector Sheehy said it was not known whether the powder used to make the tablets had been imported or manufactured in Australia.

He said police investigations into the matter were continuing.

Several hours after the raid, police, a forensic chemist and other specialists were still working in the front yard of the house, sorting and logging items which had been found on the premises.

$100 a pop? Jesus christ. When will the media learn.

If profit margins were that high, I'd start manufacturing the shit right now.

Depends if you own both I spose.... Any decent Crime syndicate going around Melbourne (where the good shit is) Would have their own Press I think, Not everyone can get them obviously, but Manufacture would not be difficult if you are/have been a fitter and turner... Lathes, Mills and plasma cutters make light work....

^ Haha, yeah after reading over it again and seeing the two guys ages I'm almost positive I read it on here yesterday or something, as I said tho I couldn't find anything after searching Aus DD (maybe I wasn't using the right terms).

Anyway, mods feel free to delete if it is around here somewhere... :)

Now, that is what I call a rude awakening 8o

At least they bullhorned them, instead of busting in the doors and gassing them.

The media are getting ripped off if they think $100 is the going rate. That's the highest amount I've ever heard they're worth.

You couldn't find the thread because it was not obvious by the thread title, I've merged them.

When it says more than 120,000 they initially said 150,000 hence the price difference, I wish once we could have a news article posted and people not jump on how expensive they think pills are. They don't go 150,000 times 50 to get the value, it's a total calculated down the line of distribution but who really cares anyway its a big number.

I am assuming you are referring to safrole, and it isn't just available in northern Europe. Safrole could be extracted from plant material anywhere if one was so inclined, and chemicals can be sent worldwide.

China is the major manufacturer of Safrole. Where do you think the Netherlands get it from. These chemicals can be purchased over the net from chemical suppliers if you want to take the risk.

These chemicals can be purchased over the net from chemical suppliers if you want to get raided, more like it...

Agreed.

In this country, before '98 and perhaps for quite a while after, it was possible to order tons of these substances without any worry. Piperonal wouldn't have attracted any attention either.

But with todays resources I'd bet any bottle coming through customs which contained safrole or sassafras oil would result in someone being checked out. That being said, any company having an account with a chemical supplier can purchase either without having to sign anything about intended use (theoretically anyway).

But. Some larger suppliers of chemicals choose to submit anything they consider remotely suspicious. Part of the reason is that most companies at one time or another have inadvertently supplied chems that were later confiscated in raids and traced back via serial numbers etc. These companies are all keen to show they don't support such activity.

Whether all such reports are followed up or not I wouldn't know, but seeing as most safrole purchased would be intended for MDMA manufacture, I can't imagine an order like that would be ignored. As I've said before, in future if someone is thinking of doing something naughty that requires safrole, he/she will probably be forced to turn to nature, or to turn to someone else who has already turned to nature.
