Good ole amphetamine (?sulfate? nope prob. base) providing relief in crystal drought

Like probably 95% of other ice dependent people in NSW the last month(s) have been a nightmare of quality and availability (or lack thereof) of ice so I tried a novel solution: just go back to old school speed I said to myself.

Got my first baggie today and put just under 2 pts in my coffee and have to say I'm now experiencing a nice calm high. It's not crystal to be sure but it's more than enough to keep me functional! Was much more reasonably priced too.

Forget about the overpriced bitch for the moment and go old school goey!

Ed. the more I think about it the more pleasant this actually is than hoovering on the sweet puff compulsively! (not that I wouldn't given the chance lol)

Also a downside is I notice my heart rate increased much more than on ice though I didn't sleep last night properly and I am quite dehyrdrated.
Kind of uncomfortably so in fact. I think I would split the dosing in half and maybe not mix with a caffeinated beverage next time.

Maybe I was wrong to use the word sulfate - apologies - thanks to everyone who contributed to this discussion - you have educated me. I think what I had was "base"...

Still better than a poke in the eye with a burnt stick but not ideal - far too much PNS especially heart rate.

In my case I wouldn't say so much "fun" as an adequate substitute.
It's fading a little now but not uncomfortably so. Of the comedown it will be hard to distinguish how much of it is the speed versus the every other day ice use prior to that but I'll do my best.

A very soft landing. Though I am tired I have a sense of accomplishment having successfully addressed a number of material personal matters yesterday that I have been putting off for months. I was actually productive whereas with crystal I'd only be half way through a multi day porn marathon right now lol

So where did this amp sulfate come from? Dexamphetamine tablets or darknet? Amp sulfate has never been a common option in oz and because there's no ice around I doubt there's any spare amphetamine in a notoriously unsmokeable and therefore less expensive form just all of a sudden popping up.

Sulphate is the bomb, on the same tip racemic or base Amphetamine can be even better, it's basically the same stuff but it has some how been taken from the final solution as a whole ( both optical isomers ). Base can last for 24 hours and be trippy,

Wow I'd give my left nut for an 8 ball of sulphate!! In my opinion gives you a "happy high" a lot more sociable than meth. Dopamine levels on sulphate much more manageable. I looked forward every morning to the sound of the Harley Davidson pulling up out the front for the morning drop-off. Nothing like a decent boot first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, throwing up then putting the jug on for a cuppa!!

Actually I'm pretty sure it was base that I had - it was just two little yellow balls that were very potent and had that awesome smell about them. Does that mean it wasn't a "sulfate" per say?

Street amphetamine sulphate is always racemic - I.e. around 50:50 dextroamphetamine and laevoamphetamine. AFAIK, illicitly produced d-amphetamine is unheard of - unlike methamphetamine where crystal is always the dextro isomer.

motor oil/fishy/ammonia smell which is what amp freebase smells like

Dealers kept it in the fridge and were quite insistent that customers also 'get that stuff in the fridge ASAP'. Sour smell, soluble in water, sometimes caused mouth ulcers. Slushy appearance, like frozen coke.

I stopped wondering about it years ago, as it was clearly very impure. Considerably different to ice in effect.

I've been saying the exact same thing in another thread about UK base/paste. Wet shit that loses all potency when dried. Usually yellow and slimy, stinks to high fuckin heaven and corrosive as fuck. The 'high' when it's wet is spacey and somewhat dysphoric. Seems to consist solely of PNS side effects with virtually no redeeming qualities. When it's dry, it's a bag of shit...

Most ppl who make the stuff would never let anything be done to the oil except pHing it to the salt bcoz that's how it's done.trying to weigh/bag/cut/sell/handle liquid absorbed into a solid in a still wet form is just too hard and pointless

disagree for three reason.


REASON 1 : I have read In literature purchased from hmv detailing information about amphetamine and this stated sulphate and base are two different compounds

REASON 2 : I have taken amphetamine sulphate powder then a chemical wich differed i.e sold to me as putty amphetamine and had there abouts the same smell as the first amphetamine and it changed the direction of the high.

REASON 3 : a dealer explained to me why he was able to stay high. He explained ' if he is in Coventry and has been up for a while and wants euphoria to last he needs that other kind of for shizzle down London way wich he knows about and will replenish him. So in the car he gets, Brum Brum Brum.
