you can't go wrong with jewellery. Last year i got my g/friend a bracelet and for something different a parasol. She really liked the idea of the parasol. But she is really girly.

well, i can now say with authority that a swim with dolphins at Seaworld has been one of the best experiences of my life, to date. They are truely amazing creatures, they are so trusting... their skin is so soft and they are absolutely adorable.

This experience is not just for "girls" either. Anyone who has an interest in our mammalian friends should do this. Being that close to them, seeing how they swim and communicate with eachother is awe-inspiring. :)
