Site Feedback Gif support for avatars/profile pictures?

Will there be future support for animated gifs for avatars? Some of the trippy user avatars brought a lot of character to the site (I also quite liked my own).

We will definitely be looking into that. Xenforo doesn't support it out of the box but it seems likely there is a solution. I also miss the animated avatars. Animated gifs still work if you put them in posts, by the way, it's just in the avatar spot where it doesn't.
