My father bred hunting dogs and had GSH dogs also. They are incredibly easy to train. The dog clearly needs to be exercised first if he is still displaying dominance. You should never have to use force or those horrid collars in order to get the dog to obey you. Working with them takes skill and patience. If you’re getting bit then I’d worry for what type of dog you’re creating.
When it comes to Malinois which ain't a gsh this dude is one of the only one's out there to say that they are NOT easy to train and that you will end up getting nipped by them as it's the only thing that they're interested in which is biting. It's part of the game. He's straight forward and not full of shit. Just watch his other videos if you're interested in the Malinois breed.
They're getting hard to get hold of these days in Belgium, some breeders wouldn't sell me one. I went to a dog kennel/shelter with a 'poblem' dog and put one of the dogs problems within 15 minutes straight.
Only reason they let me have him. They need a strong handler but also one who understands the breed and knows how to be sensitive.
I could show you one of the blue play bite marks on one of my arms which is totally normal and yeah this time with it being a young puppy with sharp teeth it even broke skin, with me they only happen once as I correct the behavior instantly but they're bound to happen when you get to know the dog. Going by what you said there you'd be running for the hills. Play bites happen and they can be not so gentle.
Trust me once you have a good dog/Malinois they will skin someone alive. They will die for you no matter what happens. They're total psycho's when it comes to protecting their good owners.
The dogs are totally worth the time and effort, /pain. At present that's about 2.5 hours a day.

ffs a) i wake up at 6am on a saturday and b) i check the news out of some frankly ridiculous hope that it might be good and find out that the people are still voting for the wrong people.

My God, round at my mates yard & his got a 13 month old baby who's kicking off, I never heard such a horrific noise. It's like the worst Black Metal vocal ever & it doesn't end, now & again it works upto an almighty "eeeuuurrrggghhhhh" then crying & back to "aaaarrrggghhh" "eeeeruuuuurrrrrrrhhhhhh"

Now I know why I never wanted kids.

Wage not was
Sorry, missed your reply. It’s a good income, I can’t fault that. Guess I feel a little like I’ve missed out on a few things in life that I thought I’d have done or achieved by now.

Should probably sit down and write a list or something of shit I want to get done/do and work towards ticking them off.

Madness! I don’t know ANY GP that would retire early. The wage is too good for what you have to do.

I make a damn good wage but I work a fucking lot. I work a 90 hour week at least. Even when I’m sick and off work I work. I wrote up 3 studies this last few weeks from hospital.

I’ve trained enough to be a MD easily. The thought of being a GP always bored me though. Smelling old people is not the shit I’m into. Smelling dying rats is though. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Not everything in life is about the money. Sure as shit makes it easier though!
Lol....

Only people who have money say it’s not all about money. You’re right of course, it isn’t. In fact more money does equal more problems. I’d rather have the money than not though...

In regards to job satisfaction... as an MD you can easily decide to specialise. There are loads of interesting fields... you’re never too old.

The other side of Malinois owners.
If you haven't gathered I totally love the breed. There's a reason navy seals other special forces only use the Malinois breed and not German shephards.
It's a drugs forum but go and suck a ding dong.
Musings of an amateur owner where the last one never harmed a fly and quite a few people did a u'ie when they spotted me and the pooch when he was in his hayday.

I'm ****, I'm one years two months old. I was abandoned by my previous parents for chewing stuff up so they said they just didn't know how to handle me and I'm going to be a handful. I'm still not fully grown yet and I've got a puppy mentality. I stayed on my new parents lap for two hours on the journey to the new home even though I'm the size of a wolf.
I'm very sweet and love cuddles and like meeting people.
If you've got bad intentions with my new parent I'll skin you alive.
I still need some work on getting acquainted with cats, cows, chickens, horses, deer and barbed wire.
Other dogs think they're stronger than me I think not.
I love playing fetch with balls, getting them to release them is already proving to be quite hard as I'm very possessive.
My new parent is already trying to teach me that accepting or eating treats from strangers is a no go. He's going to need help with that one.
@ageingpartyfiend it's this post that you want.

Just had 4 x cheeseburger from a new place I ordered delivery. Total $7

They were better than the 4 I paid $20 for last week. A bit smaller, but still fucking bangers

If I go to McDonalds it's or three cheese burgers or a Big Mac and fries.
The three cheese burgers are about 7 bucks.

i fucking hate life! i woke up at 5am today.

its my birthday this week and all i want is either a good, natural, nights sleep or a bullet in the head.
