Misc Getting off amitriptyline, help please!

I have been taking amitriptyline for a month at 50mg a night for sleep. I read about the horrors of withdrawal, and I want out early. I would rather use classis antihisthamines to be honest. If I drop it cold turkey after such a short period of taking it and at the relatively low dose, what should I expect.

I am terrified at the thought of having extreme anxiety, panic attacks, feelings of shear fear, shaking, sweating. It almost sounds like a benzo withdrawal.
