But it taught me the lesson the hard way, no more booze on benzos!
Hear hear.

Perhaps a blessing in disguise indeed. I was an arse to my mates one too many times on nights out mixing benzo's and booze. There are much better combo's or even just singles that don't turn you into a totally different person.

I'm enjoying some crushed up XR methylphenidate (plugged), valium and pregabalin at the moment :) Wish I had some weed... hopefully just a couple days till some arrives magically in the post.

I was watching wolf of wallstreet the other week. I think I was born in the wrong decade. Im referring to barbiturates. Shame the only RC version I tried was total shite. I forget what it was called now. Not to veer too far of topic...

Pregabalin is a great one for mixing, seems to go with everything especially benzos. Got plans to mix it with DHC tomorrow too that'll be lush. I know opiates + downers is risky but at least it's just DHC. That's another lesson I learnt the hard way actually. Mixed a fuckload of oxy, benzos, pregabs, and other shit after a Mandy and drone sesh over the weekend because I was one of those daft twats all like meh fuck it I got a high tolerance and I know what I'm doing, I'm invincible! Almost died. But this too was a blessing in disguise as it lead to me tapering off oxy and sticking to the weak stuff.

Methylphenidate though? Truly does show how different we all are, I could not stand the shite and stopped taking it after a few days. Was the lowest dose of Concerta, I think 18mg. Awful stuff. Would not touch with ten foot barge pole.

I rate pregabalin highly. Potentiates opiates nicely (imo) and takes the edge off weed and methylphenidate. I take 300mg every day. I did come off it after being on it for a year to see if I could. The withdrawals weren't that bad. I wonder if I'm lucky or it's when you dose twice daily (as its prescribed) when problems coming off it arise?

Methylphenidate isn't great, but it's all I have access to at the moment and it's slightly recreational, for me at least! 18mg of concerta is the dose I take too. Just a little boost for a good few hours. Definitely not something I'd take every day though. Any positive effects wear off fast. I also think it would suck without the pregabalin.

Same. Rated highly for mixing and the odd bit of fun.

But I personally hated being on it daily, too many side effects, like I couldn't think straight or remember anything and my head was a melting mess constantly. This level of intoxication is also the reason it's fun for recreation. But it's also why I couldn't stand it daily.

I imagine the methylphenidate you're on balances some of that out. But even when I was on Elvanse and pregabs at the same time, it still fucked with my head in a bad way for daily use.

I think here you are lucky. I was only on it for a month and I'd genuinely describe those withdrawals as worse than oxy or alprazolam even though I tapered at my own pace. Felt awful for weeks, couldn't sleep for the first week off them without potent benzos.

Reducing wasn't so bad. I was on 300mg too but three doses per day prescribed. I went all the way down to 50mg and it wasn't too bad. But jumping off completely was awful for me.

I can handle a benzo rattle no problem. I can manage an opiate rattle even though they make me depressed as fuck. But that pregabalin withdrawal couldn't be stopped. Benzos helped a bit, but then of course it's swapping one habit for another.

Anyway yeah for me pregabalin is a once in a while treat. It's fun to use like that. But I wouldn't go on it daily again.

Yeah the pregabalin is definitely taking the edge off for you especially with the comedowns which are worse with MPH than they are with amphetamine.

I assume you have an ADHD diagnosis so try and get switched to Elvanse. The NHS is generally happy to prescribe it even though it's amphetamine because it's a prodrug so defeating the time release is impossible without an actual lab. Tell your doc the Concerta has too many side effects and you've read Elvanse is another time release medication which has fewer side effects. Your GP can even switch you if they want, just depends on if they're comfortable doing it.

I have chronic idiopathic headaches sadly, coupled with severe anxiety and brain fog. I think it's all connected to my gut health issues as along with constipation all the above symptoms started at the same time. Bloating came later. I think it's some gut microbe imbalance. GPs say it's all in my head/its my mental health issues. I'm seeing a gut specialist about it now but its early days. Had one appointment and the wait between appointments is 4 months. That's the state of the NHS I guess :/

Anyway, the pregabalin really helps with masking the headaches (other painkillers don't seem to help) and also help with the anxiety. I'd go as far as saying the pregab makes life livable. This was reinforced when I came off it for a month. The headaches/pressure behind my eyes and the level of anxiety without is extremely high. That's the only reason I take it daily.

Sounds like I was lucky with no WDs. I didn't even taper. I had 2 or 3 nights of very patchy sleep and then I was fine. Well as fine as fine can be with my health issues.

You're right, I've got an adult ADHD diagnosis. I was offered adderall or concerta. Looking back I reckon I made the wrong choice. It's actually on my to do list... to try and get it changed, as it worsens my headaches. I had my eye on dexedrine but I know I have to be careful about how I go about asking for a swap of medication. Luckily I have never disclosed any drug or alcohol abuse to any GPs or specialists at the mental health team.

Yeah I need to ring up and get a medication review booked in for sure. I reckon they will be happy to change it, since its exacerbating my headaches. Obviously the other stims they can offer could do the same or worse. But only one way to find out! I don't even take the methylphenidate daily, as prescribed. But when I do really need to be on the ball it's nice to have it. Does what it's meant to with keeping me focused. I do abuse it sometimes too by crushing it up. Nevermind hey!

Got access to some Bensedin diaz at the minute but the kid wants £20 for a box of 28 which is outrageous since I know for a fact he is only paying a tenner for them..

Anyway I get paid tomorrow so might invest in some of he's still got some left. I'm not huge on benzos though and have a 600mg day pregab scrip which does the same thing IMO.

I was getting those Manos blues for pretty cheap and while they used to be good the last few lots I got were very hit and miss.

I'm glad you're one of those who actually gets health benefits from pregabalin without the downsides (horrible withdrawal). Happy for you considering that's some fairly serious health issues that'd affect your quality of life otherwise.

You cannot get Adderall on the NHS so guessing you saw a private specialist? I don't recommend Adderall simply because you will need to get it on private scripts only, the NHS will not give it to you because it's not an approved NHS medication. The pharmacy will then need to get it specially imported just for you since scripts are so rare. As a result you will end up paying at least £500 for one script. I've heard of the cost being closer to a grand for higher doses.

Dexedrine is the one you want. The NHS prescribe it and it's the same as Adderall except without the levoamph so it has much less physical stimulation but much more mental stimulation. Because it's an isolated isomer of amphetamine it's actually more potent mer milligram than Adderall. There is no Dexedrine brand anymore though, it's now either Auden generics or Amfexa.

If you are worried about what you ask for, stick to time release meds, so assuming you don't see that specialist anymore, literally just say to your NHS GP the Concerta is causing you side effects and you've researched them to find lots of other people have the same problems on Concerta and say Elvanse is much better. And mention it is a time release med.

That honestly shouldn't be a problem, just a routine switch from one time release ADHD med to another.

I'd even say that asking for dex shouldn't be a problem either, but you want to have tried Elvanse first, that's the NICE guidelines. Concerta > Elvanse > dexamphetamine.

But hey you might end up liking the Elvanse, it is a good medication, I just personally found the time release to be unpredictable since it's a prodrug rather than a traditional time release tablet so how quickly it's metabolised into dex depends on a million things about your body that day. But already we've seen our bodies are very different in how they handle drugs so it could be no problem for you.

Paying a tenner at most. He obviously bought a fair few boxes so probably got a discount for the bulk. See if he'll take £15 though I'd say that's a fair deal.

Charges what the market is willing to pay, 'tis how it goes. Best thing is to go direct to source yourself.

Cheers for the advice.

Never went private. I could have sworn it was adderall I was offered. Perhaps it was methylphenidate or an amphetamine based medication she offered and I'm misrembering it as adderall. I was definitely offered a choice of two different medications with her explaining the differences. This was about 6 years ago.

I agree it should be simple enough. Perhaps I'll try the Elvanse first as you suggested and only if that doesnt work out then go back and explain that. Ideally I'd like IR dextroamphetamine ultimately. Best to fit in with their protocol for treatment though.

I just saw 30 clonazepam for 25quid and I'm so tempted. Especially when my bitcoin balance has increased by £10 in the past couple if days.

The NHS don't offer Adderall, maybe she was saying it's like Adderall to give you a reference to a brand you've probably heard of since everyone knows the popular American pharma brands. It's likely you were being offered Concerta or Elvanse.

But yeah just go to your GP and ask for Elvanse and explain why, shouldn't be a problem truly. After that you can also then try getting IR dex if you like.

That's a bit pricey for clonazepam but then it seems to be the going rate in the UK. Europeans sell clonazepam much cheaper but it demands a premium over here.

Just picked up a box of these fellas.. Thought I'd give them a try with just one box of 30 before buying any sort of quantity...

They seem to work fine and have had excellent reviews... Anyone else come across these before?

Little white pills, clear on one side and "10" written on the other... Taste very "diazepam like" when held under the tongue and 10mg had me feeling very relaxed and eased the tension in my leg a little bit...

In summary, I'd recommend these if you happen upon them at the right price... I paid £15 which I feel is on the high side but if you can grab them for £10-15 then they're worth a punt..

£15 for 30 sounds like a pretty sweet deal! I had some last weekend, but honestly can't vouch for them due to tolerance. They appeared to be diazepam though, and roughly the stated dose. I'd imagine they're good quality diazepam, but could be wrong. Send one into wedinos.

I think there were some issues with fake ones under the Prodes name a while back, but in the last few months Wedinos has been confirming them as diazepam.

Onto a winner there, I got two blisters of those (one old, one new) all I can say is Galenika's benzos are on par with any UK pharmas easily. Also got two blisters of the actual Roche Rivotril too (script).

Some HR advice though if you are not used to clonazepam go low and slow. Start with a quarter or half at most. Clonazepam 2mg is potent especially if you're only used to diazepam. The fact they hit slowly when popped normally and cause delusions of sobriety don't help either so I say stick a quarter under your tongue, wait 10 mins then try getting up and actually walking to gauge just how mashed you are.

Enjoy!
