GABA-B Agonists for Benzo Withdrawal

Would taking a compound such as GHB set me back in terms of benzo withdrawal? I’m thinking that since GHB works on the gaba-b receptor it won’t prolong or exacerbate withdrawal symptoms induced by gaba-a agonists. Does it even matter that they work on different receptors? I believe both substances elevate the presence of gaba so I might just be making things worse.

Wont really set you back but it might make you feel weird. GHB can feel pretty edgy when you're in benzo withdrawal.
