Funny Translations - Word for Word

This is something mostly for non-native English speakers, I suppose, but anyone can and will hopefully participate if they find something.

I'm looking for funny or weird (proverb) translations from your native tongue or a third language into English (or the other way round), and what it actually means.

I'll just give some examples, easier than explaining.

"Da wird doch der Hund in der Pfanne verrückt" - "It makes the Dog go insane in the frying pan."
<< Usually when something crazy happens, or something that pisses you off immensely.

"Ich glaube ich spinne." - "I think I'm cocooning."
<< Basically the same as the frying pan.

"Mit dem ist nicht gut Kirschen essen" - "With him there's no good cherry eating"
<< Don't mess with him.

"Jemandem in den Arsch kriechen" - "To crawl inside someone's butt"
<< To be extra nice to someone for some sort of personal gain.

"Ich glaub' mein Schwein pfeift" - "I think my pig is whistling"
<< When you're absolutely gobsmacked

My favourite Malay one is “sama membeli kucing dalam karung”

Literally: “just like buying a cat in a sack”

Meaning: Not having any clue what you’ve got yourself into in a deal. Mighty useful in drug deals if you don’t use reagent.
