Formication - Sensation Of Bugs Crawling And Pinching Under Skin

Update: I've gotten this effect from methylphenidate and tranylcypromine. Likely a dopaminergic or adrenergic mechanism at play here. Interestingly, phenibut seems to alleviate the formication. Anyone have any sources or thoughts on what the mechanism behind this is?
