Film: Zeitgeist

Has anyone on here watched the movie zeitgeist? I have watched it many times I still don't know what to think of all the conspiracies with 9/11 and god.. Its just so much to think about can it really be true? What does everyone else think?

My ex made me watch it...well, didn't make me. It's a lot of coincidental stuff..some of it makes sense. The religion stuff was something my history professor spoke about, and he lectured with the same theory - religions just took pieces of each other and mixed and matched names. LOL

I don't doubt the religious stuff is true, but the 911 conspiracy stuff is kinda coincidental. It was an interesting watch, but I'd want to see their sources to confirm some of the stuff they claim. I don't care enough to do that though. LOL

Weird. I was talking about this with a friend yesterday- I'm surprised there wasn't a thread made about it earlier!?!?!
Anyway- I agree w/ Lysis- Part one on the Religion bit was most interesting to me- Though I liked it all........Part One was the best imo and really set the stage for the rest of the main message, the whole fear factor thing being so far ingrained into our minds......Mass Manipulation is crazy.

I think its a great movie but i believe the religion part of it. I couldnt imagine watching this movie tripin haha

I like it. I'm not sure if I actually believe all of it. But I love new thought and new movements. The movie that blows your mind with "facts" is very intellectually stimulating which I also enjoy.

I Loved Zeitgiest and Zeitgeist II, I didn't agree with the Jesus part, that argument he uses has actually been fairly well debunked, but the monetary stuff, and the 9/11 stuff was right on the money!

There is a guy at my work who is always preaching about these films, I watched the first one the other day and though it was alright. Is very much propaganda, but at least it may get some ignorant people to open their eyes a little bit. As others have said before though, although the general gist of it seems to be good, the sources and facts used are not all very well checked and used.

Will be watching the 2nd film later today.
