extracting THC from pot leave

Well theoretically speaking I wouldnt have any metal in the aparatus apart from the butane can itself (i.e. pvc pipe with caps and cloth filter, taped to wooden stake for support and above a pyrex cup). I've been thinking about about the ice method or even just the shake method with a fine screen filter, though I imagine the butane extraction to be more effective.

Personally I would be far more worried about the risk of static electric discharge when using PVC pipe and compressed butane...
