Opioids expired oxycodone kicking in late?

I got some oxycodone the other day (percocets, not oxycontin) from my friend who found it in the back of his moms closet where she keeps all her leftover prescriptions. He doesnt know how old it is, and he threw out the bottle so he cant check, so it could be anywhere from like 35 years old to just a few months old. I just took 32.5 mg(i know thats a huge dose, you dont need to tell me) a little over half an hour ago, and i didnt really feel anything until like 10 minutes ago, and im pretty sure it hasnt peaked yet. i havent done much oxy before, but isn't it supposed to kick in in just a few minutes and peak at like 15-20 minutes? could this be because its expired?

If it was in the back of a closet, im assuming with little to no light, it should be ok. and yeah, u aint gonna peak from oral oxy in 15 minutes. give it 45 minutes and 32.5 mgs without a tolerance should have you puking. Its not a super huge dose, wont kill ya, but if u are opioid naive it may make you uncomfortable.
