Does Yohimbe work?

I couldn't find this topic on any search (maybe i'm just doin it wrong) but has anyone taken yohimbe? Does it work or is it just a gimmick, should i just order some viagra off the internet? And if so is ordering viagra online a hassle? Any advice is appreciated
 
... I think he wanted a Non-Biased site or personal account...neither of which i can give. I do know that those "herbal" penis-enlargement or Stay-Erect pills usually have Yohimbe and Ginsing in them, as well as some other bull sh%t herbal stuff...
I wouldnt hate on that stuff too much though, cuz i heard that someone took too much one time and had a heart attack or soemthign like that, and it DOES supposedly increase heart-rate/blood flow, which is probably somewhat amphetamine like...if not similar to Viagra.
(PS - sorry im incoherant. =)
 
Apparently, it does work somewhat...I haven't used it personally but I've had it recommended (by doctors) for sexual dysfunction as a result of being on antidepressants.
As for side effects and how cost effective the stuff is, I have no idea...if you try it let us know how it is!
 
I had some from an herbal store and it made kinda jittery and very very horny. I guess it's okay, but it kinda is shitty. Like an ephedrine buzz but worse jitters. I took like 3 time the recommended dose though, and think fresh is the best. Thats what I had, its like a bark...
worth a shot, but viagra is probably better....
I've actually heard of people snorting viagra to get high......hehe.

Yohimbe works pretty well, though I wouldn't recommend the dosage by the guy above that took three times the dose. One pill will generally cause increased sexual desire, two should cause much increased sexual desire, and some jitters, though not a lot.
Yohimbe is fun regardless of whether you have erectile problems (I use it recreationally), and is fun when combined with Prozac ... it makes me roll.
Unlike Viagra, which only deals with erections, Yohimbe is actually an aphrodisiac in that it increases sexual desire. It's a fun little drug, it's cheap (a bottle of sixty is $11), and legal.
Purportedly, Yohimbine, the active ingredient, boosts dopamine levels too, which might account for the nice little roll when combined with Prozac. Some trance music helps that, by the way.

heh, anyway if your into bullshit rememdies, placebo alone will get you through most "loss of libido" problems...
But if you cant get it up go to your doc for viagra... if you can dont take viagra, its not for fun it wont make you last longer, and you can seriously damage your penis..
 
It works! No side-effects, relatively cheap and easy to obtain. It's not viagra but the increased sexual desire is there and for once a supplement (And i've taken alot for the brain, for the muscles) has done what it claims.
 
Do some google searching and you will find a cheap source for pure(or damn close to pure)yohimbine hcl. I always wanted to try snorting some because that was one of the main ingridients in that 'herbal coke' stuff that disappeared off the market(I think, or maybe it was just WAAAYYY overpriced).
 
Well, we seem to be split down the middle with this one... some say it works, others say it's a crock of herbal bullshit, then we have a true pharmacology genius that rings in taking 3 times the recomended dose ...
I'm closing this now, if you have not made up your mind then just take the damn stuff yourself.. see if you pop an 8 hour bonor and want to fuck till you're dry..
