I think there is a part of a virus feeling on these Mushrooms that I've ingested..

Like they are taking (staking for the rite of a) host..

Like they are attached to you as a host for the duration of the biological chemistry reaction..or should I say the extant of the trip..

I'm feeling these mushrooms have both a good and bad purpose..

Perhaps selecting you as a host for the propagation of their continued existence in evolution..

To me it always felt more like a symbiotic relationship... i mean, you did eat them afterall :D

especially if you compare it to something like Ophiocordyceps unilateralis and how it can take control over the behavior of its host:

Haha.. to be truthful I've only done mushies about 16 times..

But this is a first when I realized they're taking host..

Living a high life is always like this .
