Do pressed pills ever come in blister packs in Australia?

Hi all, I'm considering purchasing some pharmaceuticals (an Australian brand) from a local street source. The pills are in a blister pack with the correct information which makes me think they're legitimate pharms, but I'm wondering if dealers in Australia ever put pressed pills into blister packs to fool buyers? Thanks in advance.

If you're buying pills from a dealer, then yes, they could be counterfeit, despite the blister pack.

It probably is considerably less likely than in UK or US, but buy a test kit to be safe.

What pills are you getting?

Mersyndol Forte (paracetamol + codeine + doxylamine) and potentially a bottle of Rikodeine (dihydrocodeine) but I'm more wary of buying something in a bottle.

You should be able to Rikodeine from a chemist without a script.

You'll probably be okay buying Mersyndol from someone as long as the blister packs are sealed.

I'm pretty sure all codeine products are script-only since mid-2018... I tried to buy Neurofen Plus the other day and was told I needed a script.

Rikodeine is dihydrocodeine. It's a bit different (some people like it more, others prefer codeine). It's available over the counter.
