Misc Diphenhydramine and Dimenhydrinate.. What's going on???

So I know a lot of people (pretty much everyone I know of) hates the "highs" these two substances give.
But I have learned to enjoy them. I just have one question though. Why is it that Dimenhydrinate gives more visual hallucinations than Diphenhydramine?
The only difference between the two is that Dimenhydrinate is just Diphenhydramine with 8-chlorotheophylline included in it.
But from my understanding 8-chlorotheophylline is just a stimulant with similar potency as caffeine..

So why would Dimenhydrinate (Dramamine) give more CEVs and OEVs than just Diphenhydramine?

Anyway, if this is an obvious question, please excuse my ignorance on this. It just doesn't really make sense to me.

Probably more likely to be up and about and therefore notice it also it may prevent some of the memory impairment so u simp ly moght remember it more
