Heroin Detox and Rehab

Well tomorrow I likely will be in detox and then off to rehab in Dallas TX for heroin.

Can anyone share their experiences?
 
Can be helpful to get some time and space from it, but most likely be expecting to be heavily indoctrinated, manipulated, and wrung for every dollar you and anyone you know is worth. Have a clear plan of treatment agreed to before you arrive.

Did you end up going?? I actually live about 45 minutes outside of Dallas. And I’ve been trying to quit. I’ve been to rehab 3 times. It does help.
 
Just find a doc who will prescribe 5 days worth of buprenorphine and then switch to suboxone and save yourself a ton of cash!
 
Good luck to you. Happy to hear you taking steps to fix that problem. I used the heavy shit for years and while I'm not an NA type.... I never want to take that ride again.
