FEATURING:

.:VON D:.

Based in Paris, France.

Von – D, Born into the multi cultural melting pot of the Paris suburbs, a young Von – D found his soul’s conduit in a beat up drum kit. While the riddims of King Tubby fused and morphed into the foetal jungle of Photek, Serge Gainsbourg issued instructions from the radio.

A fusion chef of bassweight, Von D deftly slices into unpredictable genres, concocting strange and beautiful new forms. After forging a professional path as a sound engineer, Von D has honed his sound sculpting skills to a razor sharp edge.

Not content with producing some of the scenes freshest music, Dubstep founders like Skream & Tes La Rok have dropped their own flavor on his music by remixing Von D’s tracks “Show Me” & “Truth” respectively.

While BBC’s Gilles Peterson, widely acclaimed as a musical tastemaker around the world has included Von D’s track in this hotly anticipated compilation albums, and three time DMC World Champion and one of the worlds hottest hip-hop DJ's, DJ Craze has been supporting Von D, including Von D's "Show Me" in his latest mix.

With no sign of slowing down, Von D’s immense production has seen his music picked up by the dubstep scene’s number one artist Skream, securing a Von D release for his label Disfigured Dubs, DJ Chef also released Von D’s “Show Me” featuring Phephe on his Sub Freq imprint, going on to be one of the most talked about releases of 2009 and with hugely popular releases on Black Acre and Argon, we can also expect one of the most hotly tipped Albums of 2011, forthcoming on Argon records.

Far from the shy studio type, Von D has also created a global buzz with his numerous explosive live performances featuring unreleased and exciting material from Von D as well as other established top producers.

From touring the United States or though out Europe, Von D has also reached as far flung as China with New Zealand and Australia also in his sights. Whether his music is either on wax in your room or played out by the artist in front of you, Von D is an act not to be missed, Von D rocking a dancehall near you soon.

.:HAVOCNDEED:.

119 Sound / Play Me / Carillo Music / Bombeatz Music / Bastard Beats / Slit Jockey / Heavy Artillery

HavocNdeeD is a Dubstep/Glitch/Drum-n-Bass based production & live performance group. Its members are OB-one from Las Vegas, J. Paul from Phoenix & Skaught Parry from Salt Lake City.

Like any artist making a significant amount of noise in the bass music selections of contemporary times, dubstep/glitch duo HavocNdeeD discovered a passion for electronic music in the drum & bass areas crammed back in the darkest corners of those massive raves of the 1990’s. A recent collaboration between marquis U.S. disc jockeys (OB-one and J. Paul) drew upon their extensive experience in the largest nightclubs of Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, and Miami. The years behind drums, synths, guitars, and crate after crate after crate of every genre of music from the last 50 years combined with those fond memories at the foot of giant bass bins to create a sound all their own. Their first single "Bass4YaFace" is a testament to that. Creating a buzz on Beatport and getting regular spins from DJs varying from Z-Trip and Jazzy Jeff to The Next Men and Drop The Lime.

HavocNdeeD has followed-up with numerous well received singles to date. The growing reputation of DJ-synth-drum-guitar-vocal combinations in their live shows secured slots at must-attend events over the last year. This includes the 420 Festival and World of Drum & Bass, and pulled them away from North America for performances in Australia and New Zealand. While the releases don the logo of their newly-forged 119 Sound label, dubstep giant Play Me Records saw their potential early on and was instrumental in their growing exposure. The most recent offerings are remixes for Geoffrey Paris and American Idol star Julissa Veloz. Though it was a video posted by Linkin Park that holds the key for tomorrow's projects.

Drawing upon their love of classic hip-hop, HavocNdeeD felt that NWA's "Dopeman" deserved a dubstep remix. This somehow gained the attention of Linkin Park frontman Mike Shinoda who posted a video of it on his blog doing a live remix session. When looking at possible remixers for the new Linkin Park album the duo came to mind. "Our new record is more beat-driven and electronic than our past efforts, so I thought it would be a good fit", explains Shinoda. "Their remix of "Wretches and Kings" came out incredible... the bridge section is massive!” The remix came full circle when Chuck D from Public Enemy cut an original verse for the track giving it a nice blend between classic and modern. Upon fulfilling expectations for the remix, HavocNdeeD continues to open doors to more opportunities. They have since completed a remix for She Wants Revenge and look forward to expose even the most mainstream of music fans to the elements they love about independent dance music... and make those people love it too.

In the fall of 2011, HavocNdeeD announced Skaught Parry as a new member. Coming from an ambient electronic influenced rock group called Ayin, Skaught began engineering and producing artists in the Salt Lake area. This led to him spending the past few years featuring on a number of electronic dance hits as a vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter. He has been part of the auditory experience for HavocNdeeD in the past and also worked with artists such as Excision, Downlink, Lea Luna, Life+ & many more.
