Hi there

I have injured my back from helping a friend shift a fireplace.

I have a reasonable tolerance to benzo's but no tolerance to opiates.

I was wondering if I took 120mg of codeine just now which i have tried before and took almost double the amount and then took 10mg of diazepam in like 4 hours when the sort of bad codeine side effects kick in... Would this be safe enough?

I imagine it would be but I will not try anything without asking experienced users.

Any info/advice appreciated.

Thank you

No one will be able to tell you if it's safe. The answer is, probably, yes.

People often say 'never mix opiates and benzos' - and whilst their intention is good, in reality, they are safe to mix in the correct doses. I was long prescribed Diazepam and Opiates for relief from muscular-related back pain.

Are you being prescribed the Codeine? 120mg is a fair amount for someone who has no tolerance to opiates, it'll certainly make you buzz.
