chocolate

Oh, Pop. The shread of respect I retained for you after seeing you with a child's toy on your head has now been squashed ;). Turkish delight is a waste of good chocolate. When I get one of those horrible rubbery chewy things in a boxed set of chocolates, they go straight in the bin.

I noticed the other day they've now got a Peanut butter Kit Kat . I think the marketing guys at Kit Kat have clearly been given a brief to dream up as many flavours as possible. I'm just waiting for Kit Kat liquorice, or Kit Kat banana 8(

Or maybe Kit Kat Turkish Delight for you pop ;)
 
For All You Chocolate Lurvers Out There

It was a White Knight, and Mr Cadbury and Ms Rowntree were on a River
cruise, they met on the Top Deck, It was After Eight. She was from
Quality Street; he was an Old Jamaican. They walked hand in hand down
Milky Way and around the Family Block.

They stopped in at the Mars Bar, he had a Rum & Butter and she had a
Wine Gum. She asked if he could pass her a Coaster, He said
"Sure...Take 5 ". They decided to leave as the music was too loud, &
neither of them liked M&M.

On the way out he bought her some Roses, She said they were her
Favourites. They walked down to his sports car, it was a Red Ferrero.
He made some small talk, and tried to make out like he was a Smartie.

She spoke a little but didn't say much as she didn't want to Polly
Waffle on. He suggested they should go somewhere quiet. She said if
you play your cards right you might get lucky after tea. He replied,
After Dinner?.. Mint! "At this point he knew she was Cherry Ripe!

He asked her name. "Polo, I'm the one with the hole", she said. "And
I'm the one with the Nuts", he thought. Then he touched her Milky
Bars, they felt Smooth & Creamy. He thought to himself, they'll
definitely melt in your mouth & not in your hand. He told her that he
had a King Size Bar, but she thought he might just be telling
Fantales.

They checked into a Motel and went straight to the bedroom. Mr Cadbury
turned out the light for a bit of Black Magic. It wasn't long before
he slipped his hand down into her Snickers and felt her Kit Kat. She
started to play with his Fruit & nuts, But then she said "Stop!" He
though she was a Malteaser, But he still wanted to Jaff-er. So he
showed her his Curly Wurly. Ms Rowntree wasn't keen to have any more
Jelly Babies, so she let him take a trip down Bourneville Boulevard.
He thought this was Fantastic as he always fancied a bit of Fudge.

It was a Magic Moment as she let out a scream of Turkish Delight. When
he finished, his Fun Sized Mars Bar felt a bit Crunchie. She wanted
Moro but he needed to take Time Out. However, he noticed her Pink
Wafers looked very appetising...So he did a Twirl, had a Picnic in her
Sherbet and gave her a Gob Stopper. He was exhausted, so he rolled
over for a Flake.

Unfortunately Mr Cadbury then had to go home to his wife, Caramel.
Sadly, he was soon to discover he had caught V.D. It turns out Ms
Rowntree had been with All Sorts!!

I know you're upset right now, so I'm going to pretend you didn't say that.

Following on from Peanut Butter Kit-Kats, those crazy americans have Peanut Butter M&M's! 8o Now these things seriously rock. They remind me of one of my Grandmothers old specialities, Chocolate Coated Peanut Butter Balls. I probably like them as much for the memories they conjur up as for the taste itself.

me fav chocolate is anything with nuts in it. no fruit just nuts!!
especially almonds yum. yum!!!!!! 8o
but you cant beat a nice good old block of cadbury dairy milk chocolate WOOP!!!! so tasty!!!!
 
Negatory I totally agree whoever put fruit and chocolate togther should be shot.

Nuts nd chocolate on the other hand perfect
 
I had a Lindt cake for my birthday last week... best birthday cake ever!

Oh yeah, lindt hot chocolate rocks too :-D

Kit Kat Peanut Butter kicks ASS PEOPLE!!! And trust me... I know my food ;)
 
I cant go a day without eating chocolate, i just have to ahve it.

Best easter present ever!

Hollow dairy milk with little candy covered choc eggs inside. So yum =D

Despite sampling many chocolates, I still can't go past good old cadburys dairy milk.

Anyway, I've finished my easter chocolate already. I don't go out of my way to buy chocolate, but if it's around, it's horrible... I seriously have to eat it all as fast as possible.

Freaking late night assignments make me feel like more chocolate though.
 
In terms of easter eggs, Cadbury Creme Eggs win hands down :D Though they are just about the sweetest thing on the market...normally I go for Peppermint Crisps and Bounty Bars...oh and chocolate coated licorice is a big favourite too!
 
I got an easter egg bunny and ate it within 15 minutes which I haven't done since I was about 8. But I was very stoned, and it was easter, so it was all very good timing.

I'm still undecided about creme eggs. I know this will sound stupid, but I eat them and I'm not sure if I actually like them, so I keep trying them just to check.
 
^ I understand. It's like, they're good in their own way, but they also make me feel ill. And it also makes me feel like i'm eating a raw egg. Which is gross.
 
It's cos there's just too much creme, they'd be much better with a thicker chocolate shell and about half the creme there is now.

And LINDT. Lindt all the way.

I had a Lindt bunny for easter (amongst, um, some other things ;) ) and it was the most delicious thing ever. EVAR even!
 
^^ I kno my friend n I were talking bout this the other day how this Easter people are doing presents. What's with that?? I LOVE Creme Eggs, such super-sweet goodness but if there's anything better than Creme Eggs it's half price Creme Eggs post-Easter. But I'm disappointed in the ones I brought the other day they taste....different. Like a bit out of date n the creme bit doesn't taste right/as good. Still hasn't stopped my sampling :p
I terms of chocolate bars, albeit such a difficult call, Boost bars are top-notch. Block-wise Black Forrest n Milka. T'was Milka that got mum pulled over by the cops when I was little coz I wanted it so bad I took off my seat-belt n climbed into the front :)
