(South Australia) Cannabis in Aus?

I'm from the UK and a daily weed smoker. I have family in Adelaide and I'm thinking of visiting. What's the state of play with weed in Australia? Is it easy to get quickly? Is it even used in medicine? I'm happy to do a DW order as I only know family there, what's the usual turnaround on postage? We get next day or 2day delivery easy here.
