Agreed. Overdose is nothing trivial or something to joke about.
When I've overdosed I can compare it to a nightmare when you try to scream as loud as you can, but you cant or no one can hear you. Your soul is shouting "Hey! I want to live!!!!!" as your brain and body shut down.
One of the most bonechilling things I remember about ODing was SCREAMING silently "I WANT TO LIVE, PLEASE SAVE ME, I DONT WANT TO DIE LIKE THIS". I couldn't form words let alone speak, you aren't breathing enough to form words. It's like your drowning and you're staring up at the waters surface from deep underneath, and you're slowly sinking down, the surface becoming darker and harder to see.
After a certain point, your mind just wants to give up, and you cant take it anymore so you give in and blackout.
