Art Call too see if there is interest in a Scale Model Build

This not "Art" but it is the closest category I could find to describe what I do when I'm not MOD-ing or developing Video Games.

I build models, and right now I'm getting my skills back together by building a "military" model, cause by nature they are ragged and beat up so my rrusty skills can be partially hidden.

I am in the beginning stage of building a scale model of a WWII Gato Class Submarine.

If there is an interest I will photograph and share the build.

I'd be interested to see your photos, do you use a kit or make the pieces of the models yourself? What scale would it be?

It's the 1/144 scale Trumpeter version. I've scratch built models before but not this time.

That's a good 2 foot long! How/where will you display her?

It fits quite nicely on my entertainment center (which is 6 foot long).

That's one reason I chose the Trumpeter version, leet. The Revell model is over four foot long.
Right now I'm doing research on the prototype and waiting for some supplies (plastic putty for sealing up the join seams on the outer hull). Should be in this week.
