Black Tar heroin into gunpowder form?

Was wondering the best way to do this. I have a small amount (bit under 500 mg) of some tar heroin. I like snorting so Was wondering how I turn my tar into gunpowder? I've heard you throw the tar in a pill bottle with some powder and a nickel and shake it up. What kind of powder is best for this, or if you guys have any different methods that work I would like to know, thanks.

I would put it in water, filter it & use it nasally with an eyedropper. Adding powder will just clog your nose.
