Misc Best kratom variety for opiate withdrawal?

Hi folks - this is my first posting here. I have been taking pain meds - Norco 10/325 mg, MScontin 15 mg, and Tramadol 50 mg for years now, and have been through treatment for opiate addiction many times. I recently went through a pound and a half of green Malay kratom powder and was pretty successful in getting off of the above opiates with relatively few withdrawal symptoms, but recently started using all of the above again, and am planning to use kratom again to stop once and for all. I am wondering which variety of Kratom has been the most effective for other opiate users to withdraw from them. Any feedback would be appreciated!

I have always used regular old bali (leaf) and maeng da (leaf).

Its worth the extra money to get whole leaf. All powders Ive tried have been sub par in comparison.
