Benzos Benzodiazepines and auditory hallucinations

To the point, has anyone else ever experienced hearing familiar or unfamiliar voices in a sedated and somewhat delirious (for lack of a better term) mindset after taking high doses of benzos such as clonazepam, alprazolam, or lorazepam? I'm specifically talking about high, though still sub anesthetic doses. I remember experiencing it when I used to do heavy doses of clonazepam and, a few years later, I experienced it again a few times from large doses of xanax, but have found relatively little about it online, with not much in terms of either anecdotal reports or research abstracts. I'm thinking it is probably due to extensive GABAergic agonism on one or more sites, comparable to zolpidem or to a lesser extent muscimol. Would like to hear some other opinions/experiences, or if anyone can find an abstract that so much as touches on the subject, please post a link. Thanks

Very high doses can produce a delirium that can include auditory hallucinations.

Ive noticed it more with certain benzos, like temazepam (at 90mg+)

Even if I'm dosing extremely high i never had acustic hallucinations.
