I had a sudden question from that: normally no way no how could your doctor discuss you with your mother, without your permission in writing. Fear the HIPPA.
But a doctor doesn't need your permission to consult, or make fun of you by name, while teeing off with the other noble doctor duffers. I wonder if having a license allows family to circumvent HIPPA.
Imagine if both you and your childhood buddy had psychiatrist parents. Old school, big on the more Freudian side of things, each parent relating in excruciating details the precise stages you were going through.
