Bad Trip With A Feline

[Ketamania]

I wrote this quite awhile ago while sitting in a park:

Lots of cats
enjoy many pats
on their backs

Some yellows
many are mellow
chill fellows

feel their soft ears
after a few years
you shed many tears

in the small lab
you take a few tabs
a philosophical knife
you feel - it stabs

do they love me?
am I forever screwed?
I have no trustee
because of a blood feud

My eyes dialted
I'm intoxicated
Oh dear Felis Catus
I'm above the stratus

but my insides
burn like acid
did I eat pesticide?
my brain, is not placid

this feline
solely mine, is my
alkaline

only some like cats
some think they're brats
mine wears black top hats

wait, is this real?
something breaks, it's the keel
but yet, I don't feel

compressing my rib cage
I can feel the rage
struggle to turn this page

diaphragm blows up
doctor check ups
I need to wake up

the wind, it blows
how do I know
where to go?

consciousness comes back
and it is pitch black
I'm no longer distressed
It's just my soft calico cat
who lays on my chest

Thank you! Unfortunately no, I don’t write for fun usually because I have so many things to write for school. However, I might be more motivated because of the positive feedback!

I think you really have talent. Writing for yourself like this every once in a while would be really good for you and it would give you a bit of a mind break from the things that you have to write to just let your mind go free
