You may have noticed a few threads being shifted over to the events forum in the last few days. The events mods are trying to liven the forum up a little so as a trial, discussion threads for large events/tours are being permitted from when the tickets go on sale, rather than only within the normal 8-10 week timeframe. As events get closer, individual state threads will be started for discussing meetups/set times etc.
If you could start threads in events, rather than in social, that would be much appreciated. Any questions about what's appropriate should be directed to the events mods, but do check out their guidelines, and remember to include a bit of general information about the event and ticketing in the first post when starting a thread.
