amyl/butyl etc. nitrites in sydney?

are these still available in sex stores etc.? I'm not asking for any place specific, merely asking about availability - and perhaps what they're sold as, if that's allowed. Any help would be appreciated...my searches yielded some results but nothing definite. I know to ask for video head cleaner, thats about it

In Qld you can't buy nitrites OTC from such shops, but I've heard it said that a whisper at the appropriate time usually results in something. In other words, it would seem they are quasi legal by some definition and that many shops still carry them under the counter. I think there's a code word but I don't know what it is... if I can find it I'll PM you.

Something most people are not aware of is that nitrites are CARCINOGENIC. Check this older post of mine;

In Canberra you can get it legally OTC in sex shops.
It is usually sold in small glass bottles with a catchy name and the warning: Do not inhale! (yeah right) written on it. The brand we got once was "Purple Haze" but there is a million different cheezy names it goes under.

Try to get Black Gold, cost an arm and a leg but it was the strongest I have ever had, and it was actual AMYL... not this cheapo Isobutyl that does'nt do much more than give a headache and a red face.

Also look up brand names online, there's alot of fakes out there and the fakes really are inferior products.

Years ago, friends involved with cyanide poison always had amyl nitrite in small glass vials. Used as a cyanide antidote, these were cracked open and the small amount of vaporising liquid inhaled (at the time - late 70's NZ - sodium cyanide was legal to use when baiting possums).

NB- It has been found that oxygen is more effective than amyl nitrite as a cyanide antidote, so standard practice when working with cyanide is lots of fresh air and available oxygen. So this is no longer a quasi-legal source for amyl nitrite.

At the time, this stuff certainly did the trick and I don't recall experiencing the pounding head. But these days [old age for sure] I've found anything sold in a bottle seems to give the feeling of an exploding head. I've never looked for a replacement as I have no present need for a relaxed sphincter and always found N2O was a much better gas for enhancing orgasm.



However, if nitrites are your thing, make sure you're well informed on the potential for present and future health problems.


Never use if you have cardio vascular problems, anemia, low blood pressure, or glaucoma

NEVER EVER use with Viagra, Cialis, Levitra or any of the phosphodiesterase inhibiting drugs used to treat erectile dysfunction. These use the same metabolic pathway, and may potentiate the effects of the nitrite on heart rate and lowering blood pressure.

Well, i get it UTC (under the counter) in melb, here's a brand list of the ones i know the shop i go to has (i have a friend that works in the shop) so crack pipes are also readily availiable

All sex shops in sydney and most in NSW sell nitrites. They sell them to be inhaled, and you dont need bullshit excuses to get them. Just ask for amyl and they give it to you. I've bought a number of different types from a number of places and always just asked for "the strongest amyl you've got". Never even gotten a strange look.

I usually ask for poppers. They know exactly what you're after and will give it to you no questions asked in Canberra.

I find that the strongest ones will give me that "oh, i've got an axe thru my brain" sore head, and tend to burn my nose too much. Whatever "strength" you get, never let the rim of the bottle actually touch the skin on your nose (or anywhere else in the private region for that matter), as having skin flaking from your nostrils for a week is so not a good look .. LOL. Amyl is really cool to use when your pill is wearing off, to bring it back on; is great on its own when just listening to your fav dance tracks; and of course is awesome when just having a nice slow wank - be assured that the relaxation of your sphincter muscle won't turn you gay ... hehe

lol... true true.. nitrites are illegal in Vic, so yeah... i prefer the medium strength amyl's that don't make u cough like a lil bitch straight after inhaling!
