Hi,

Does anyone have experience with either of these drugs? Wich one is better(low and high dose)?

I've been treated with Amisulpride for years at 50mg ed. In the beginning and after a break of a few days it has a subtle but noticeable effect on mood. It feels very clean, but it's certainly nothing to write home about. Rather something that might make it easier to stay away from real drugs of abuse. From what I've read, at a higher dosage of 200-400mg it is quite a typical antipsychotic, but with fewer side effects. I'd guess it to be pretty much like any antipsychotic beyond 400mg.

The mechanism seems to be that at doses around 50mg it blocks dopamine autoreceptors, thus acting as a low-potency reuptake inhibitor. Beyond 100mg it starts to act as a dopamine antagonist.
