Again

There it was again
That stirring in her loins
The yearn for creation
Her ovaries shivered every time they were near a wrinkly newborn
She wanted that joy
The sweet smell of fresh life, fresh hope, fresh possibilities
To be the centre of someone’s universe, isn’t that what everyone wants?
Another cramp comes over her like a wave
A harsh reminder, a sharp stab not only in her womb but her heart
The Time for creating has come and gone
She’s been told too many times it’s not viable
Going through the motions to give birth to hopelessness is something she’s too familiar with
There will always be that yearn though, the lingering look at those soft little babes in their mothers arms
The daydream of what hers would be like now
There it was again

I like this.. i had to give it a heart because I felt the idea needed love and care...
to ensure that it was known to anyone who may feel like this, in what can feel like a heartless world sometimes, that someone cares.
great piece
