Advil vs Motrin? Any difference?

This is just a general question. I had gone to the ER numerous times for pain and they gave me Motrin instead of Advil which has the same active ingredient (Ibuprofen).
Is Motrin more effective than Advil because it may have less of the inactive stuff in it than Advil? And is Motrin more gentle to the stomach than Advil?

I had been wondering about this for a long time as why emergency rooms give Motrin rather than Advil?

Maybe its more cheaper?

There is literally zero difference. They are just different brand names for aspirin. I'd assume you were right about Motrin being cheaper, although in that case why wouldn't they just use generic ibuprofen for 1/10th of the cost of either?
Like how Vicodin, Norco and Lortab are all the same thing.
Or Zoloft and Lustral.
