Addium is the most advanced and effective cerebral enhancement complex in the world.
Its nothing like adderall. Its crap with fancy marketing.I wish someone had tried both addium and adderall and could relay the similarities and differences. I get great results from adderall but the price is prohibitive...
If this drug would replace your prescription meds (or mine) your doctor would know about it. The only info out on this product (for the most part) is a PAID ADVERTISEMENT from a company that makes it, and of course the ad says it's the "new Viagra" and "most powerful brain enhanser".... I don't see that claim on the front page of the New York Times, ONLY in this ad paid for by the company that makes it. HELLO??? It's not controlled by the FDA because it's not a prescription drug; therefore, you have NO WAY of determining the amounts of ingredients in the "pill," what they do and whether the ingredients actually do anything.Have you had any side effects and not to pry but are you taking any other prescription meds? I have anxiety and a lot of my problems it appears this pill would solve. That would be great if I didnt need to take anymore presciption drugs.
Yeah, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say anything that advertises as this is gonna be a little overhyped. In fact at the bottom of their advert-store-site thingy it says "These claims have not been reviewed by the FDA" .... not exactly something making me want to run out and buy it.
Some things they don't go out of your way to tell you: GABA taken orally is inactive, Bacopa and huperzine are both acetylchloinesterase inhibitors and OD on AChEI's is not very fun... and vinpocetine is suspected to be an immunosupressant.
Neither of them have clear cut stimulant effects as much as amphetamine.
The FDA does not review any supplement (herbs, vitamins, supps, etc) claims -- in fact anything claiming to treat or cure any disease has to be classified as a controlled drug.
Actually -- (this is not an endorsement of Addium)
GABA taken orally does not cross the BBB -- BUT it affects the peripheral GABA receptors in your body -- these receptors actually affect the CNS through activation of the Vagus nerve and modulation of neurosteroids that modulate receptor function in the CNS -- so oral GABA supplementation actually does have an effect --
Bacopa normalizes Serotonin Metabolism and acts as a GABA receptor complex upregulator (via actual upregulation or an increase in receptor density is unresolved at this time) -- it also blocks the amnesiac effects of benzodiazepines when co-adnministered, but does not block anti-seizure effects.
It's funny you ask about this, I have a bottle sitting in front of me right now at work.
I actually found Addium while searching for energy pills a couple months ago. I was looking for something to replace my morning coffee fix.
I take one of these baby's every morning. It's definitely gives me a strong buzz and helps me get through the long days a little easier.
I've never taken Adderall so I don't really can't compare the two, but for being something I can buy online w/o a prescription, it does the job and then some
