Adderall maximum 24 waking hour dose

Anyone know what the maximum dose of adderall in 24 hours is? That's saying that you're awake the entire 24 hours?

I'm prescribed 20mg 4x a day (before sleep) does that mean it would be safe to take 7 in a 24 hour period i don't sleep?

I think he means can he take twice as much if he intends to stay awake for 24 hours (his intention of staying awake is irrelevant to the central question). He's currently taking 80 mg per day and wants to take 160 mg.

Then i sleep.

If i were not to sleep, could i take them again at -

9pm

ALONG with the inital 'daily' dose and it be considered a 'day'

So thats 7 in a 24 hour period.

Are they being prescribed for narcolepsy? The maximum safe dose is going to be the same no matter what but we might be able to help you better if we have some additional information.

No, adult ADD.

I'm supposed to take them 4 times a day, which i do.

I heard that the max dose was 100mg a day, but what is considered a day? 24 hours or 12 hours?

So, if the circumstances so happen, as to where I will not sleep in between the 5pm and 5am dose, would i be ''overdosing'' by taking them in between 5pm and 5am, since I'm not sleeping?

I've dropped massive amounts of Adderall you should have no problem.. That's just my opinion, though.. I've done it too many times to count and fucked my dopamine after years of constant non-stop Vyvanse/Addy use.

Jesus.. How did that go? I thought dropping 5 30 IR's at once was a lot.

You could do that but it might get you high depending on your tolerance, I took 162 mg of concerta today for the first time trying and it is meant to do the same basic thing as adderal and the maximum prescribed dose is 54mg and it's three times the maximum dose and I took it all during school (7 hours) and you're talking about a 24 hour time span and only double, you'll be fine
