anyone tripped during the day? I wanna try it.. i reckon it would be better then tripping at night cuz there is more to see..anyone had any good experiences?

It's kinda like taking acid at night... but there's much more daylight... ;)

ive heard

"Its soooooooo much better in the daytime, you havent really tripped unless you have in the daytime, to take full advantage of the acid, take it in the daytime"

This is a serious post, however, the words are not my own. Theyre from a credible, experienced tripper though:)

*meh*

take it and find out for yourself:)

I personally prefer to trip in daytime, it's easier (ie can see what you are doing) that must be my lazyness talking.
Visuals can be just as good if not better, long grass on a windy day is probably my favourite. Daytime everything tends to be happy and bright.

Places I would recomend, the beach, a park, shopping centre if you can handle it, buses, trains, zoo, melbourne aquarium and the casino carpet rocks and so do all the flashing lights.

But I love tripping

Everyone has there own preferences, during higher levels of light you'll see more of the real world giving a lovely little light show. In low light due to a reduction of light stimulation you'll find that's when the weird at wacky stuff has its fun. Both are fun, just remember to enjoy it.

mmmmmmm i love daytime acid!

i find it's a lot more playful, easier to handle, funky and beautiful. Although it doesn't have that same mystery that night time trips do, has more clarity instead.

But yeh i don't suggest a shopping centre unless your an experienced tripper...... just go to a reserve/park with some mates, brings heaps of fun stuff, a blanket, toys, a cd player... whatever you can think of!

I find nature, especially if there is water around, the best, oh yeh and not a place with too many people :p

peace :D

Yeah shopping centre leave last on your cheaklist of Trips to do. There is nothing worse than someone asking you a question and the words not seeming to come out.

I used to go the Art Gallery while on high doses of acid few times last year, its pretty interesting, but just got to be careful to not try attract attention when you trip hard and go "Whoa man... look at that!!" loudly to your mates and people will turn around and look at you and you get paranoid that you *think* they are looking at you, but they probably not. :D

I don't see any differences between daytime and nighttime, I mean tripping is tripping. I avoid shopping centres and crowded city, just don't think its a good mood/setting, just too much information overloading in your brain from over-anaylising your surroundings too much.

I prefer tripping on the beach, natural parks and Art Galleries. :D

I remember getting confused at a traffic light intersection!!?? couldnt move the colours kept changing from green - red - orange - green - red - orange started to sweat madly but finally got my bearings back! ended up going to a local garden reserve and hung out there staring at all the beautiful flowers etc magnificent colours LMAO! that definately helped bigtime changed the mood pretty fast ;)

when i took acid during the day and walked around richmond (the yarra river and stuff) it was the best experience ever. hehe... looking at all the trees, plants etc. are amazing... plus clouds look really awesome on a nice day...

I have had some fantastic trips during the day and I really do enjoy it, but I am prone to massive paranoia at times when on acid and wandering around in the middle of Sydney on a Monday around lunchtime wasn't the best for my mindset, so we all went back to my place and kept up the fun :)

CB :)

hah.. never really thought about trying it in the day.. theres been times when the trip is still going into the daylight.. but never been fully up there at day.....

it never even passed my mind to try.. interesting :)

in the day with nature especially the bush or a park is the best!

Combine that with a doof and it's the best ever! :)

Tripping during the day is much better in my opinion. Psychadelic trips are influenced by environment. So if your surrounds are more aesthetic, then you can trip better. The best times i've had on shrooms or acid were at beaches. Clouds also look really cool. They get sharp lines instead of their normal 'fluffiness' and tend to move around like you can see different layers of them. very cool.

urbanhog, if you wanna trip in a gallery i would suggest going to PICA rather than the state gallery (your in perth right?) to find it keep walking towards the library, past the main gallery and turn left down the steps (left if your walking away from the city/trainstation and towards northbidge)

most of the people that work there did my uni course at some time or another, and id bet that every single person working there eith does acid or has some sort of illegal drug habit, (our lecturers used to smoke bongs with us!!!!) :)

this i feel would be a MUCH better environment to trip in, theres no security guards or anything, so if you start acting all wierd the staff will probably be thinking "damn i wish i was trippin right now like THAT guy"
so youd be sent positive vibes rather than have to worry about shit like people thinking your crazy or up to no good.

of course theres not as much stuff in that galllery, and its more "contemporary" but its got some really trippy art in there sometimes.

the John Curtin Gallery is probably somewhere inbetween theesae two, and still pretty damn good stuff there as well.

Last time I did acid during the day was when the movie "The Professional" came out (Natalie Portman, Jean Russo, Gary Oldman). A serious film. My friends and I howled with laughter through the film and had a fantastic time. Not much acid around these days though.

intersections rock. the sounds of the clicking signal box and the sound of the walk thingy for the deaf came together like a symphony that turned into breakbeat techno... we just had to stop and start dancing.

Many moons ago I used to go on shopping trips. Myself and friend would indulge early on Saturday morning, say around 10.ooam, then drive to any rather large shopping centre in Melbourne and just walk around.

Sometimes we'd giggle and laugh at the most simple things and eat ice-cream.........so much fun.

But that was back in good-old-bad days before I cut my hair and got a real job.

Here's something weird that happened to me one daytrip.

I was at home lounging around, after dropping an hour earlier, thinking to myself "Wouldn't it be nice if a blonde girl knocked on my door" no sooner had the thought finished when a knock on the door actually happened. I walked the passage way, opened the door and there in front of me was a blonde girl standing at my door step. I invited her in and it turned out that she too was having a day trip !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TOTALLY BIZARRE

Still to this day it addles my brain to understand the universal connection here........so who knows what will happen on your next day trip!!!

Bon Voyage
