Ok I was prescribed 2mg of Abilify (aripiprazole) once a day at bedtime. Well I took my first dose and in a few hours BOOM. Sedation heavier than H, and Euphoria like it. Then after going to bed I noticed I slept a good 18 Hours, I was also delirious (According to onlookers, I dont remember like taking 5 Xanax Bars). The worst part though the next day I could barley get out of bed. Sedated like a mental patient but the euphoria vanished. This lasted the whole day.
The next day I decided to take 1mg instead. This time SAME effect minus the euphoria. Just zombified is the best way I can explain it.
When I read about the side effects its completely contradictory to what my experiences were like?
My question is anyone else take this medicine, also can anyone help me make sense of this adverse reaction.
(Btw I don't think I am but if this is the wrong place to post this sorry and let me know Ill move it, If thats possible?)'
