Opioids A good informative video that explains strength difference

It seems to be close to many equianalgesic charts, but most people won't see the stronger opioid meds anymore for new injuries from a general physician unless they have already been prescribed them in the past and have strong qualifiers that their doctors
believe warrant continuing pain management. Not sure why he went with Etorphine either as it's not used in humans and has it's own antagonist/ antidote to revive animals sedated with it.

Before the "Opioid Crisis" doctors could tailor peoples meds to what worked best and rotate meds to help with tolerance and side effects. Not near as much of that happens anymore and blanket approaches of discontinuing opioids to large groups like the VA and even some University Hospitals & Emergency rooms has really shattered some responsible pain patient's lives.

This is the problem with the knee jerk reaction of "There's a crisis, no more opioids for anybody! " https://medium.com/@ThomasKlineMD/s...pioid-pain-medication-reductions-356b4ef7e02a

I understand this. I am in the number one state for opioid addiction. Most doctors avoid them like the plague. Even if your arm is falling off.
