Oh wow.thats a high dose.i want so bad to feel normal.Hey Darcie, I was on 380mg/day of methadone and I got off. I did it very slowly over 18 months and got off. So its definitely possible. That said i wasn't on it for as long as you. Still its possible to take off the cuffs it just takes time.
That said I haven't exactly been free of opioids, with little flare ups here and there, but nothing like before.

Long.im a woman lol.named after my grandpa though so yea it's a boys name
Wow. I'm not sure they should let people get on that much. I mean, obviously if you actually needed that much that'd be one thing. But it sure seems like it's never that anyone needs that high a dose, they just keep asking to go up.
I mean, I had a pretty big heroin habit, and I stabilized on 80mg. Now I don't wanna assume that because that worked for me it'd work for anyone. But still... 380mg is a lot.
Actually where I live I'm pretty sure they don't let you get on much more than 150-200.
Awesome. I think girls with boy names are cool.
I didn't need 380mg but it was an expensive private clinic and they allowed me to escalate my dose.
Part of it was that i broke my ankle jumping from the roof of my apartment to my balcony (I lost my keys and thought i could get in that way) while already on 240mg. I needed pretty invasive surgery so they gave me more and then i kept going up.
Im glad they allowed that much. Getting off of 380mg probably isn't that much harder than 200mg.
What's crazy was that I was shooting whole fentanyl patches on top of all of that. Somehow i survived, and oddly enough I've never overdosed on opioids...
